Japanese Snow Monkeys

Monkeys, Onsen and Ryokan.
This weekend was all about experiencing Japan in winter and seeing the famous Japanese snow monkey. For that a traditional Japanese inn (ryokan) equipped with natural hot spring baths (onsen) could not be missing.
We booked the ryokan with breakfast and dinner - both japanese. For me eating savory dishes - like miso soup and fish - for breakfast is very unusual. What a great experience.
In addition to relaxing in the ryokan and onsen we visited the place where a troop of wild monkeys live.
All in all it was an unforgetable weekend and I start to like the japanese way more and more.
