Himeji and Naoshima

Himeji with the white castle and Naoshima the art island.
Himeji has magnificent white castle - beautiful and definitely worth a visit. Other than that Himeji has a nice temple site on mount Shosha, which we hiked up.
After Himeji the journey continued to Naoshima - a small island covered in art which is scattered all over the island. I’ve already mentioned that I am not too artsy, but my partner really wanted to see this island so we went there. I liked how we could reach everything by bike, although the bikes we rented were very poor.
